Becoming a Certified Jewelry Instructor

Bead Corner™ Design Academy is coming to your nearest Michaels® store and
we're looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated instructors! As a Bead Corner™ Design
Academy Certified Jewelry Instructor, and part-time Michaels® employee, you will
mentor others how to create beautiful jewelry, while having fun and making money!

As an instructor you can share your creative ideas with like-minded jewelry fanatics.
Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur, or just enjoy expressing your imagination
through jewelry, Bead Corner™ Design Academy can be your home for all things beading!

By completing courses within the Bead Corner™ Design Academy, you can learn the professional way to create jewelry by using expert techniques such as bead stringing, crimping, knotting, and wire wrapping.

How do I become a Bead Corner™ Design Academy instructor?


Once you submit your application and receive approval, you will come back to this website to create a profile. You will then complete an Instructor Traits survey, submit photos of your previous jewelry work, and take a Knowledge and Skills assessment. When you pass these steps, you are eligible to begin the certification courses. The online courses take 2 hours total to complete, but you have 14 days from the time you start the first online course.
